This morning, Paul Milligan appeared live on Good Day Columbus to discuss Season 8 and Season Opener Party 2016 with anchor Pete Scalia. Also featured were models representing Lubna Designs as well as cars from ESOTERIC Auto Detail, Byers Imports, and one of our members.

Paul Milligan, Founder of Columbus Cars and Coffee, and Lubna Najjar, Founder of Lubna Designs, will appear live on Good Day Columbus this Friday, April 29th between 9:00AM and 10:00AM.

Milligan will be discussing Season Opener Party 2016 with GDC anchor Pete Scalia, and Najjar will offer a preview of some her latest designs which will be featured in a fashion show at the party this Saturday.

Several months ago, a student-run car club from Olentangy Liberty High School reached out to us with an invitation. They had already successfully launched a charity car show called Revs for Relief, and they wanted to include Columbus Cars and Coffee in their 2016 show. We receive a lot of similar requests every year which we can't accept, but due to the stellar reputation of the students and their show, in addition to the great cause they support, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to join them.

This show benefitted Family Promise of Delaware County, which helps homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence. All proceeds from the $15 car registration fee went to support the organization.

Unlike our first meet of Season 8, this meet featured perfect spring weather. The result was a fantastic turnout! Some of the highlights included the 2017 Acura NSX, a Ford GT, a 50th Anniversary Porsche 911, two Cayman GT4s, two AMG GTSs, and others among a stunning display of American muscle and classic cars.

In addition to inviting our friends to join us, we brought our stellar, all-volunteer crew with us to help the organizers run the show.

On Saturday, April 9th, the eighth season of Columbus Cars and Coffee officially began with the coldest meet in our history.

As we watched the forecast and debated postponing the meet, something great happened; dozens of people reached out and said they'd like to come despite the cold weather. Since April is already full of other events (Revs for Relief, Season Opener Party 2016), we decided to "go for it" and meet in the blistering cold!

While the turnout was smaller than it would have otherwise been, dozens of cars rolled in for the meet, including the Esoteric Auto Detail Corvette Z06 with Z07 package. This car, perhaps the most detailed Z06 in the world, features HRE wheels and a loud Akrapovic exhaust and drew a lot of attention against the stark, cloudy backdrop of the weather. A pair of Hellcats, along with the Byers Challenger Drag Pak with a Viper V10, headlined the American muscle selection.
