It's amazing, the difference a year can make. Last season started on a cold, snowy Saturday morning. The turnout was impressive considering the conditions that day, but many cars stayed at home, warm in their garages. 

This season spooled up on a perfectly sunny, warm day. The long winter months finally fading away, our enthusiasts couldn't wait to remove their car covers, disconnect their battery tenders, and fire up their pride and joy.

As the cars poured in by the hundred, the total count was over 300, our enthusiasts were treated to a look at the all-new Audi Columbus building, the latest addition to Byers Imports. As a fine collection of Audi vehicles amassed out front, the metallic building glistened in the sunlight. Meanwhile, all non-Audi cars were heading back to the Cars and Coffee Lot, where our volunteer crew worked to find space for them all. In the end, they had enough parking, but only just.

Headliners in the Cars and Coffee Lot included the new Aston Martin DB11, a handful of Huracans, a sinister black Viper ACR, two of the new Acura NSXs, and an ultra-rare GT3RS 4.0. There were Corvettes, Hellcats, Alfa Romeos, a Bentley, Maseratis, and dozens of other types of cars on display. It was a truly diverse and dynamic gathering.

Ultimately, we couldn't have asked for a better start to Season 9. The season continues on April 8th at ESOTERIC Fine Auto Finishing in New Albany.

​This event is free and open to the public and will include reserved parking for exotic and collectible cars, limited visitor and spectator parking, and an open house in the ESOTERIC facility.

We're fortunate to have some phenomenal cars in Columbus. One of the newest is a 2017 Aston Martin DB11 delivered to one of our members just in time for the beginning of Season 9.

​This afternoon, we assembled a crew of cars at the Columbus Zoo's Africa Event Center for a photo shoot promoting Season Opener Party 2017, and the DB11 was the star of the shoot!
