 Last night, we launched Season 7 with the Season Opener Party at Franklin Park Conservatory. Although the weather did not cooperate with some of our original plans, the evening turned out to be a great success. About 250 guests enjoyed cocktails, dance performances, body painting, music, exotic cars, and more.
Thank you to Byers Imports, Diamond Cellar, Studio 47, AMH Exotic Parts, Pipes and Pleasures, Matchbook Photography, Best Light Video, Stoner Periodontic Specialists, Dance 614, Deborah Brommer for making it a great night! There will be a lot of photos and videos coming over the next week or two as we process the hundreds of great shots, and hours of footage, that were taken last night. Stay tuned to our Instagram account, our Facebook page, and this blog for more content as it becomes available!  The automotive community has lost a true car fanatic. Robert Himler, 24, has lost his battle with cancer.
Robert was one of the first people to attend our meets in 2009. He attended two meets during Season 1, as well as Season Opener Party 2011 at Fleur. He was always excited to share his passion for cars with other enthusiasts. Robert had a long list of great cars throughout his life, including Evos, BMWs, Lamborghinis, GTRs, SUVs, and others. Our thoughts are with his friends from the PGHCNC community and his family and other friends from around the world. He will be missed. Robert's YouTube channel can be found here.  Porsche 918 The first meet of Season 7 featured an incredible turnout, with approximately 150 cars, and dozens of drivers, fans, photographers, and spectators. Byers Imports provided a decadent spread of food and beverages, and Willo Security came to help keep an eye on the festivities.
Crowd favorites included the Porsche 918, McLaren 650S, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, and many other beautiful cars. Best Light Video was there to capture the action from the sky with their new 4K-capable quadrotor drone. Take a look here!
